“We had a huge turnout at our first Wahine Surf Event at Seaside on Sunday 08/13/23. This special community surf day was all about empowering our younger female surfers. The positive energy and enthusiasm of the girls was truly infectious. The atmosphere was filled with positivity, inspiration, and a sense of togetherness. We couldn’t have done it without our amazing older coaches helping out (Ella McCaffray, Hannah VanVeen, Kaia Howard, Kaydn Persidok, Maddie Stanton, Shea Sherman, Syd Ott and Tyler Stanton)”
