Our mission is to mentor our youth, foster their future, safeguard our past, advocate a healthy lifestyle, support local charities and businesses building a sense of community. Within our club we will have a high performance competitive surf team with a fluid and fluctuating roster of local surfers competing in the West Coast Board Riders Contest series ”

Board Rider Clubs are a way of life in Australia and are quickly becoming the fastest growing events in competitive surfing, exploding on the West and East Coasts of the United States. The excitement of cities competing against other cities is dramatically attracting entire communities to watch the action and feel the camaraderie. In just two years’ board rider clubs have grown in almost every coastal city.

The first WCBR contest was held in the Fall of 2016 between the Huntington Beach Board Riders Club and the Seal Beach Board Riders Club. The second and third contests were held between Seal Beach, HB, Newport and Laguna Beach with the third contest being streamed live on the WSL Jacks Pro webcast. The Newport Beach Coalition of Board Riders currently holds the cup as the WCBR Champions!

As a sponsor of the Encinitas Board Riders Club your company will gain vast exposure to local and national markets through brand recognition exposure at all WCBR events and WSL webcasts on crowded beaches throughout Orange and San Diego Counties. Depending on your level of sponsorship, logos will be highly visible on our tent, contest jerseys, T-shirts, hats, stickers and other merchandise.
