San Clemente hosted our first event of the 2019- 2020 season on October 12th at Church. This was our first outing to kick off the new season. We had contestable surf landing ourselves in second place, to San Clemente. Highlights from the day included Jason Shook taking home the high wave score of the day, 9.67 with one judge offering a 10, the Cote brothers (Chris and Justin) surfing in the 40+ age division – sibling rivalry – and Taylor Clark stepping in and out of the water for his double whammy wave without getting his hair wet. Once again, San Clemente proves to be our rival – so let’s see what we can do on our own turf this February 22nd 2020.

We’re looking forward to hosting the upcoming Event February 22nd at our home break – SEASIDE. We hope to fill our roster with the best and brightest in the area. We’ll be hosting the award ceremony and a dinner for the other teams so stay tuned for more info on the event that weekend. Membership is still open and the whole family can join at liveheats.com. We have lots of family functions because we are first and foremost a community club. Come join us! Go to liveheats.com and sign up.
